All people dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind, wake in the morning to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, for they dream their dreams with open eyes, and make them come true. No matter how the past of your life has been, keep all your dream so close to your heart, and never give up, even when your life is falling apart. Let your dreams give you strength to carry on and help you find the future, you feel has gone. Your dreams are your tomorrows and even through the thick darkness of life’s storms, don’t give up! Nothing is impossible, as long as you believe.
Life can readily be wasted when frustration is permitted to set in. Refuse to be discouraged. Keep up your fighting spirit and you are sure to ultimately win.
Bob Gass tells the story of Theodore Seuss Giesel. Thedore drew cartoons in a “creature-of-the month” ad compaign for a popular insecticide called “Fit”. He wanted to expand into commercial illustrating, but his advertising contract wouldn’t allow it. So he tried his hand at writing children’s books- and flopped! After 27 rejections of his first attempt, A STORY NO ONE CAN BEAT, he was ready to quit. One night, on the way home to burn his manuscript, he ran into an old schoolmate who had just been hired as a children’s book editor with Vanguard Press. With a little help, and changing the title to THINK THAT I SAW IT ON MULBERRY STREET, Thoedor’s first book finally made it to the press.
There is a message here for you. Even when others offer you no hope or encouragement, refuse to quit! Refuse to let anybody intimidate you or deter you from your goals! Fight and overcome every limitation! Remember, every winner- every one of them face defeat and adversity; and you are no different.

ReplyDeleteI, too, had to leave a note that your daughter is beautiful! You have some very good posts for those struggling with depression. I just wanted to say that as a Christian, our problems do not go away, but instead we have hope and help to go through them victoriously with the end result being that Christ is more fully manifested in us. We have his fullness given to us when we accept Christ, but it is through problems and struggles in life that we learn to depend on Him and live as He wants each of us individually to live. Have a great day and looking forward to reading more. -Sarah http://homestyleworldcook.blogspot.com
