I may not Fit Into Your Place but I have a place I fit into. God created everyone for a purpose. If you can find your place, you will shine as star. No one can take away what God made for you. If you are where you are not fulfilled, that means you are yet to get to where you belong.
There is no way to outrun a man or a woman who is in his/her track and running his/her own race. The reason you see so many jealousy and envy is because people generally do not know where they fit in. Envy especially is admiration turned upside down. The man or woman who envies you acknowledges something in you that he/she desires but cannot pay the price to acquire.
Most of the struggles and ridicules of life are avoidable if we understand the simple law of life. Know who you are, where you belong, and what you are cut out for. Know your limitations and also know your capabilities. Once you know who you are, where you fit in will be easy to locate.
Nothing plagues people like lack of identity. Do not allow people to call you who you are not. If you are a light weight and they call you heavy weight and you agree, when you meet heavy weight boxer, you may become a tragedy. So do not pretend to be what you are not.If you are not happy with yourself or fulfilled as you are, then , do something about it.The problem might probably be that you are not where you are created to be and certainly not doing what you are cut out to do.
Turn inwards, discover yourself for there is a you that is in you. You must discover the you in you. What God gave you to trade with are in you. Until you discover them, struggles and sufferings will continue.
After turning inward to discover and develop your potentials or endowments, find a platform for performance. There are those sent to enjoy what God gave you. Find out that environment and those people. Your thriving is located there.

Challenge Your Situation
There is no situation that cannot change if you will work hard and be patient. A situation not challenged will harden up and become a hill, a hill not removed will become a mountain and a mountain not addressed will become impossible. Do not leave situations till they get out of hand before you start running around for solution. That is what most people do, but know that problems are better solved in their embryo stage. If you allow them to harden. They become more difficult to get rid off.
The more you allow a matter to drag for too long, the more you give your opponents time to stiffen their positions. Procrastination they say is an enemy of progress. For instance, many patients in the hospital would not have gotten to their pitiable stage if they had consulted their doctors on time. Many marriages would not have collapsed if a respected counsellor was contacted on time. So, challenge your situation and it will change.
Take a decision concerning your situation. You will have to be decisive in life to create a chance for yourself. No one will give you a chance, it is your decision that will create the chance you desire. Do not shy away from taking firm decisions even if they are hard ones.

Let Yesterday Go
Welcome to the month of December, the most celebrated of all the months of the year!So many of us look forward to December , either because of the Christmas celebration or because of the “no work’’season which is an opportunity to rest and unwind. One of the strongest yokes that hold people down in life is their past For instance, people find it difficult to forget their past mistakes,losses, disappointments,failures e.t.c. Yet no one can move forward looking backward.
If you are going to move fast, you must forget your past. The fact is , there is no one without yesterday, but if you do not let it go, it will affect your today and may destroy your tomorrow. Know that the tomorrow ahead of you is greater than the yesterday behind you.
As the year is wonderfully winding up. I am beginning to peep delightly into the year 2011. Unfortunately, those who are still romancing their past, the unreached goals, unmet needs, success, regrets e.t.c would not find an interesting things to do.
If you want to move forward in every aspect of your life in 2011; you must leave behind you hurts, resentment, unforgiveness, envy, unhealthy relationships even your success because there are greater things ahead.

The Global Economics Crisis And Depression
It is no more news that the Global Economics Crisis is affecting every nation of the world and this has resulted to a lot of people losing their jobs. So many people are out of work and are struggling to hold onto their homes.
There are those who are trying to figure out where the money for food is going to come from for the week. Many are faced with no medical insurance. Christians all over the world are already looking forward to another Christmas, which is just three weeks away.

Conquer That Stress : Smile Daily.
Please frown your face and turn the sides of your mouth down. Imagine it’s your birthday and your friends or spouse. Frown more! Hold It ! How do you feel ? Okay now, Smile. Let the corners of your lips slide heaven wards ( upwards) . Imagine the birthday card has just arrived. The surprise party is for you. Bigger smile! Hold it ! How do you feel? Better ! Here is why: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
Researchers have shown that when a person smiles, there is a reduction in cortisol, a chemical that provokes stress in the body and an increase in mind-elevating endorphins ( hormones) on the social level, an honest smile cancels hostility and draws people near you. It takes more muscles to frown than smile in the human body. Laughter has a protective effect on the immune system by increasing anti-body producing cell and
activating virus fighting cells.
The act of smiling engages at least three major muscle groups, increasing blood to the face and thus helping to create a glossy glow. Yet despite all these benefits, a smile is free. I heard recently that the great philosopher, Akin vats used to make himself to laugh every morning for 10 minutes as soon as he got up. I tried my own version for about 5 minutes of that exercise.
Laughter is the biological reaction of humans to moment or occasions of humour. Every laugh you make cuts short the miles and hours and days of drudgery/DEPRESSION. No matter what you are going through rejoice or pretend to rejoice if need be , but don’t die through tears, self-pity, depression, worry or anxiety. A man is not finished if he can still laugh.
Edgar Watson Howe wrote: If you don’t learn to laugh at trouble, you won’t have anything to laugh at when you are old. “Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine” No wonder Micheal Pritchad wrote: He who laugh last, Laugh longest.
Indeed a day without laughter is a day wasted, nothing shows a man characters more than what he laughs at. Refuse to pity yourself, forgive yourself, reject depression because your best days are still ahead.

Why Suicide ?
Life means different things to different people, when you know the true meaning of life, no problem or challenges can make you commit suicide. I feel unhappy when I hear that somebody committed suicide simply because of life problems or challenges. Many of us have forgotten that life is a battle and winning the battle of life requires determination, endurance and perseverance. Alberto Salazer said “An athlete who tells you the training is always easy and always fun simply hasn’t been there. Goals can be elusive which makes the difficult journey all the more rewarding. Great men do not attain all their goals but they do not quit.
I was reading an article recently about a boss at a troubled U.S Mortage Giant Firm, Freddie Mac who committed suicide. David Kellerman , 41 was found hanged in the cellar ( underground room) of his home. He was the acting Chief financial officer of the firm, which was blamed largely for taking risks said to have contributed largely to the global financial crisis. His wife called the police saying he has killed himself at their home in Vienna, Virgina.
Last month, a 14 years old boy killed himself in his father house in my country. Nobody knows why he had to take his life. His parent are still mourning his death, what could make a 14 years old boy kill himself? I think the boy is in the best position to answer the question. Herman Hesse wrote : It is nobler and finer to be conquered by life than fall by one’s own hand. In the battle front of life, refuse to cast thyself down. There is no problem that does not have a solution. Don’t give up! Once there is life there is hope. Shalom.

I Have Diabetes- How Do I know If I Suffer From Depression?
When you have diabetes, life can seem like a bowl of rotten bananas! But, just because you live with diabetes, doesn't mean you have to live with depression! Depression is shown to be a risk factor for type 2 diabetes because it's one of the most common and dangerous complications.
Diabetics are at far greater risk for acquiring depression than non-diabetics because diabetics have more stress than non-diabetics. Controlling diabetes requires a large number of physical and mental adaptations
You should contact your physician immediately if you have diabetes and have any of the signs of depression including:
• prolonged feelings of sadness
• anxious feelings without cause
• helpless or hopeless feeling
• inability to concentrate
• difficulty with memory
• excessive tiredness or fatigue
• decreased or increased appetite
• disinterest in things previously interested in
• inability to sleep or excessive sleeping

• preoccupation of death

On the other hand, the right attitude is more than simple "positive thinking". It begins with who you are as a human being, your core beliefs and life-expectations. You need to develop convictions about who you are and what you want from life based on your beliefs and expectations, not based on your feelings and emotions.

When You Lose What You Love
Last week, a friend mine was killed by arm robbers. He has three children. The news of his death was a surprise to me because he happened to be the nicest person I have ever met. I cried for two days asking God why he had to die like that. His death prompted me to write this article.
To me when you lose what you love, you go through 5 stages:
• Denial. No it can’t be happening .
• Anger. God why are you permitting this?

Wether it is the loss of a child, a marriage, a job, your health etc. when you turn to God, He will give you the grace to embrace it, grieve it, express it, release it and go on to become stronger.Sometimes we seek quick relief by releasing it before we have gone through these stages. That is because we fear the process.
We have been taught that any show of emotion is a show of weakness, so we stuff it. But we only stuff it into our emotional garbage can, then spend all our time and energy sitting on the lid, trying to keep the contents from spilling out.
You must be willing to forgive, but until you come to grips with the enmity of your loss, including any injustice of what was done to you, you are not ready to forgive.When you rush to forgive, you forgive only in part and you are release only in part.
Are you running from pain today? Are you trading it in prematurely for some other feeling? Draw near unto God and your grief will turn to joy and no one will take it away.
To me when you lose what you love, you go through 5 stages:
• Denial. No it can’t be happening .
• Anger. God why are you permitting this?
• Bargaining. Please make it go away

Life treats or deals with different persons in diverse ways. Some are rich and some poor; some are born with silver spoon in their mouths and others have humble start. Many make way while the sun shines, while others earn their bread with the sweat of their brow. Some make wealth by foul ways and others have limited stores, for honest earnings are always small. While some are rolling in wealth, many can not afford two square meals a day. The favored and the foul pass their days in prosperity but the hard workers and the handicapped live in adversity.
Inspite of the problems we face in life we can still be happy. some of us may believe that being unhappy in life is something that is destined for them. However, we can be truly happy if we believe we can.Here are some things that you may be ignoring but can make you happy:
- Know what you want in life and what you love doing. Your interests and passion in life are among the things that can give you happiness and fulfillment and thus, for as long as you give time to do what you want and enjoy your passion, you can be happy in life.
-Take care of your health. It is often hard to be happy if your physical self is not well. Loose extra weight if you are overweight or obese, have a healthy diet, cut down on bad eating habits and do exercise. Of course, poor nutrition can be a factor to your bad mood. Keep in mind that the healthier you are, the easier you can learn how to be happy in life.
- Go with positive people. They most likely are happy ones. Get rid of negatives in life and avoid negative people as much as you can. Being negative can influence you and may lead you to being unhappy. Depression, You Can Overcome It.
Depression is the simplest mental illness to stop, to pause, to relieve, yet day after day, in hospitals all over the country, doctors still attempt to cure depression without making patients aware of the very relief that is available to them for free.Some cases of severe, deep-seated depression might need medication and long-term therapy, but some mild depression, ordinary sadness can be paused by having the person take action. Taking some good, positive actions in your life will help you get back to yourself, as you were before you were depressed. Look at the book called, The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz, and remember to locate that book called, The New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
• Go to the bookstore, the one that has the headphones. Hang out in the music section and listen to all kinds of music. If you can afford to buy some music, then do so.
• Call some friends or relatives and arrange a visit. Get outdoors.
• See nature. Visit a park.
• Check your local newspapers and find out where the festivals are and attend some.
Feeling suicidal? Sometimes when you are depressed, you might have suicidal thoughts and feelings also. It makes sense. The pain of depression is so awful that some just want to be relieved of the pain and want that so bad that they begin thinking and feeling suicidal. Think different. Yes, I said think different. Put different thoughts in your head. Know and remind yourself that it is not life that you truly want to leave but it is the pain that you want to leave. So keep that in mind. Don’t Allow Depression To Hinder Your Greatness In Life.
Depression is a killer of dreams and visions. We must not allow it to hinder us from becoming great in life.The world is a mixed bag of sorts and odds, apples and oranges.You choose which and what you become.
There was a school classroom which was heated by an old-fashioned, pot-bellied coal stove. A little boy had the job of coming to school early each day to start the fire and warm the classroom before his teacher and his classmates arrived.
One morning they arrived to find the classroom engulfed in flames.They dragged the unconscious 8 years old boy out of the flaming building. He had major burns over the lower half of his body and somehow, to the amazement of the physician who predicted his death,he survived. After many weeks the doctor told the mother that it would almost be better if he had died,since he was doomed to be a lifetime cripple with no use at all of his lower limbs. Once more the brave boy made up his mind,he would not be a cripple, he would walk.
Ultimately, through his persistence and resolute determination, he did developed the ability to stand up, then to walk by a stick, then to walk by himself and then to run. He began to walk to school. Later in college, he made the track team. Still later in Madison square Garden, this young man who was not expected to survive, who would surely never walk, who could never hope to run, this determined young man, Dr Glenn Cunningham ran the world’s fastest mile. You must endure things to be great. Listen:everything happens for a reason and there is hope for brighter days even in the most desolate of circumstances, never give up! Endure! Hold on.

Are you depressed because of the mistakes you have made in the past.I want you to know that you can’t seize your future while you’re obsessing over your past.Nobody starts out being good at everything.Tackling new ventures usually means learning by trial and error.It is not wrong to make a mistake in life.When you run away from mistakes you are simply making a mistake.Mistake is the path-way to perfection and is a way of living.Mistakes happen! Not only do they happen,they are quaranteed to happen. The only way you won’t make mistakes is if you don’t do anything and that itself is a mistake.Too many people are afraid to try something new because they feel they might make mistakes.They are both right and wrong.Yes,they will probably make mistakes but it is good to understand that errors are the raw materials for heroes.You never accomplish great or worth while things without risk and risk generally means great mistake potential.

What To Do When You Are Bitter
Maybe your whole being is struggling complaining and crying for justice. You may even find it difficult to forgive yourself or pardon others who have offended you. Yes indeed, you may have been wronged, slandered, persecuted and you cannot get over it. may be the more you try to shake it off this burden the worse you become.
Here are five keys to overcome bitterness:
1. Process your grief: Emotions like fear, anger, worry, depression, resentment, helplessness and grief are normal. It's no good to suppress them or deny they exist. God created us to feel. He doesn't expect us to act happy when we're grieving.
2. Accept help. It's a mistake to isolate yourself in the aftermath of a tragedy. We all need the encouragement of others
3. Choose the right response:when you choose bitterness, you hurt yourself and shut the door on happiness because you cannot be happy and bitter at the same time. During some recent California wildfires there were victims who said, we've lost everything and we're sad, but we'll work together as a family rebuild, other said. 'my life's over! I can't go on... Depression has been one of the major problems facing children all over the world.Parents have a role to play in helping their children from getting depression and I think the best way to do this is to train up your child in the way he should go.The words ‘the way he should go mean:the way best suited to your child’s unique make up,abilities and God given personality’Perfectionism violates these characteristics,encouraging your child to be something they were not intended to be in order to gain approval.To help your child overcome this:
1) Convince them that they are valuable to God and you because of who they are,not because of what they accomplish.
2) Help them to understand that it’s impossible to complete every assignment without errors.Train them to think about mistakes as opportunities to experiment,clarify personal values,learn and improve their skills,thinking and decision-making.
3) Share with them your mistakes and poor decisions.Discuss your flaws and how you have grown through them.
4) Explain that perfectionists get ‘ tunnel vision’,locking themselves into limited and limiting options for problem-solving.Explain that there is more than one way to solve a problem,organize a project and get things done.Discuss some of these other ways as a means of expanding their perceptions and introducing greater flexibility into their life
5) Celebarte the effort,not just the result.Praise things unrelated to achievement such as generosity,honesty and kindness

The Relationship Between Depression And Failure
Depression and Failure are like two Siamese twins.Failure has been one of the major reasons why a lot of people are depressed.Many people breakdown psychologically, mentally,spiritually and even physically when they experience certain disappointments of life.When hopes and expectations have been built up so high and the unexpected happens; it destabilizes some people to the point that they totally breakdown.
You must know and prepare your mind that failure is only an event and not the final destination.The best way to cope with life irrespective of its very contradictions is to decide not to miss what you did not get. The feelings of oh! I missed it again, why me, what have I done wrong,when will I get out of this, who is after my life? will I ever make it again and will I ever become somebody of repute in life etc can kill or make someone psychologically imbalance.
Aviod the feelings of shame,hopelessness and regrets because you can still be happy in life despite what you did not get.Everything depends on your mindset.if you keep crying after what you have lost, there will be no time to prepare for what is next.you will do a lot of damage to yourself if you keep missing what you did not get. Whether it is in the area of relationship, marriage, business opportunities, traveling chance, positioning in the office or material things, once you have tried your best and it did not happen or it happened but could not be sustained, just forget it and move on with life.
